About the Author
Ann Saul has traveled to all the places Pissarro painted (except Venezuela).
From her 20 years’ study of Pissarro, she gives you a taste of the “sensations” of those places and Pissarro’s art.
Ann, a professional writer, was formerly a Guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a Docent at Terra Foundation Museum of American Art (Chicago, no longer open), and a Volunteer at the Art Institute of Chicago.
She lives in Philadelphia and writes a blog about Pissarro at artbookannex.com.
PISSARRO'S PLACES in MADRID
PISSARRO'S PLACES was selected by the bookstore at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid to accompany their extensive exhibition PISSARRO on view through September. Museum guides are using the book as a resource to develop their exhibition talks.
